South Florida manufacturer JustCBD is becoming sued by a lady in the U.S. Virgin Islands who says she was sickened by one particular of its vape solutions.
She was eventually transferred to a Miami hospital, exactly where her legs had been amputated due to the fact of organ failure and oxygen deprivation, Courthouse News Service reported.
JustCBD, aspect of a bigger organization JustBrands, has not responded to the solution-liability lawsuit in court, but organization spokeswoman Holly Baird told Hemp Sector Day-to-day the organization was “saddened” by the woman’s illness but not accountable.
She added that JustCBD does not sell solutions in the U.S. Virgin Islands.
The Florida organization is also fighting unrelated legal claims that its labels misstate CBD content material.
JustCBD also tends to make topicals, tinctures and capsules containing CBD, which it calls “Mother Nature’s secret miracle.”
