Zendo Project Webinar Series: Beyond the Festival

Happy Autumn! Hope your vernal equinox was reflective. It has been a dynamic year, and as we turn in to the cooler and darker months of the year, might we have some spaciousness for ourselves, to breathe the cool air and take care of hearts, and one another.

Free Zendo Project Webinar: Thursday, Oct 22

Join us this Thursday for a free webinar session! Zendo Staff will come together to discuss the basic Zendo Project principles, as well as have an engaging conversation about harm reduction and mental health during uncertain times such as those we find ourselves in now.

Difficult psychedelic experiences can be frightening. What can you do to help someone having a difficult psychedelic or emotional experience? What techniques are available for helping transform a potentially traumatic situation into a positive one? What does it mean to create a safe container for someone going through a difficult time? What role has the Zendo Project played at festivals, and what take-home messages are available for others interested in psychedelic peer support?

In these current times of challenge and change, humanity is facing an unprecedented series of personal, societal, and planetary upheaval. Whether it’s the physical safety impacted by wildfires, the emotional challenge of social isolation in quarantine, or our soul’s journey questioning the sanity of what’s happening around us, 2020 has been planetarily psychedelic, independent of ingesting substances.

At this moment in history, there is more interest than ever before in the potential of psychedelics to be powerful therapeutic tools—but millions of people have used psychedelics outside of these legal contexts, from small parties and large festivals to private living rooms and spiritual ceremonies.

We believe that amidst all the challenges that have unfolded in 2020, there are some beautiful transformations that are still possible within ourselves, our community and for the world at large.

Join the Zendo Project for our webinar series as we provide hope, inspiration and perspective in this otherwise challenging year.
