Cannabis store prepared for west part

Developers are working to open Springfield’s third marijuana that is recreational on the city’s west side by the end of March.

The store will be owned by Maribis, the company opened its first Sangamon County location in Grandview year that is last. It is at 3025 Lindbergh Blvd., your website of a AMC that is now-closed theater.

Chris Stone, one of the project developers, said the building was in good shape and they are working to meet building requirements in order to grow and sell marijuana.

The state requires Maribis to open its store that is second by 31. Rock said they’ve been attempting to satisfy that objective by reading the building while they utilize the Springfield City Council for approval.

The council’s planning and commission that is zoning discuss the permit on Feb. 16, with a vote in front of the full council set for March 16.

This would be Springfield’s third marijuana that is recreational and 4th in Sangamon County.
