Governor Cuomo announced yesterday that eleven community-based pop-up vaccination sites are opening this week at community centers, public housing complexes and cultural centers. Three of the four new Manhattan dispensaries are located on the Lower East Side.

These small centers are expected to vaccinate more than 3,100 people against coronavirus throughout the week, with more sites coming online each week hence. As federal supply increases, the state will establish pop-up dispensaries at all 33 NYCHA Senior Housing Developments, which collectively house more than 7,600 seniors.

The three Lower East Side vaccine sites are as follows. They will be re-established in three weeks to administer the second doses.
